  The Fifth Annual Steeplechase took place at Oak Ridge on Sunday, October 26, 2008. With an attendance of more than 4,000, the beautiful fall day showcased top notch horse racing, a variety of children’s activities, shopping opportunities, and exciting terrier races. Historic Oak Ridge Estate ca. 1802 is located in Nelson County, Virginia. This privately owned 4,800-acre estate features a beautifully manicured race course and is one of the few courses that allows spectators to view each race in its entirety. The 2009 Steeplechase is scheduled for Sunday, October 25th. More information on this year's activities will be made available closer to race day. Proceeds from the Steeplechase at Oak Ridge event will be tax deductible and benefit children of the Jubilee Family Development Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. |
